My husband and I loved our three night stay at Thornhedge Inn. The rooms are lovely and the decor is eclectic. It’s no more than a 10 min walk to the furthest point of town and a 5 min drive into Acadia. Andrew was so friendly upon arrival and departure and helped us find great places to eat. My husband and I hiked Cadillac Mountain for sunrise and Aaron wrote us hand written directions for how to get up to the peak and even left out extra muffins early as we left far before breakfast. Would 100% recommend!!

Awesome location and service! We were going to miss breakfast to get to Acadia early so they were kind enough to pack us some delicious muffins to take with us. Would recommend for a stay in Bar Harbor!

We loved our stay here! I spent a lot of time researching where to stay in Bar Harbor (Hotels, B&Bs, AirBnBs) and eventually decided on Thornhedge Inn. I had never stayed at a B&B before so was not sure what to expect and was a little nervous. Andrew was very friendly and helpful and talked to me multiple times on the phone when I was deciding which room to book. They easily accomodated for our late check in. Thordnedge Inn is very COVID-19 conscious and I felt safe the whole time we were there. The breakfast options were delicious and they accomodated for me not eating meat without a problem. My boyfriend and I kept saying how happy we were to have chosen Thordhedge Inn for our stay and that it was definitely the best option in Bar Harbor. I would recommend to anyone and would for sure stay here again if I return to the area!

We loved our 3 night stay with Andrew. His wonderful B&B is true to style and he was a fantastic host. He has a great location for walking downtown Bar Harbour. The breakfast was beautifully done every morning, and our morning and happy hour conversations with he and other guest were fun and informative. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful stay we just enjoyed at the Thornhedge Inn! Our room was ready when we arrived in the morning and it was clean and comfortable. The close proximity to town is terrific and you don't have the hassle of traffic problems. Acadia is a quick drive and again, you don't battle downtown traffic to get there. Andrew is a great host, answers any and all questions from directions to where to go for dinner. We were very comfortable and felt at home. Morning coffee on the beautiful front porch followed by a delicious breakfast was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was beautifully presented and prepared and left us full until dinner. The Inn's beauty and history is evident throughout. We fully enjoyed our visit and will definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to return in the future.
