Will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Acadia! Nestled right in downtown Bar Harbor with lots of accommodating parking. Easily walkable to everything after a day at the park and ~5- minutes away from Acadia.nWe stayed in the Churchill room which was very spacious, and had a beautiful outdoor porch we took our breakfast on! Lots of charm and such a quintessential bed and breakfast. Breakfast was delicious and held us over through lunch while we were at the park, but they also offer bagged lunches for the day at a little additional charge!nI’d highly recommend. Everything was clean, and the owners are so kind and helpful.

We spent our honeymoon at Hearthside Inn and were extremely happy with our visit! Sara was amazingly helpful and welcoming. They made us feel at home (we actually kept calling it home during our trip)! Breakfasts were delicious!!!! Each meal started with a dessert (blueberry bread pudding, strawberry muffin, blueberry muffin, etc.) and a cup of fruit or a smoothie. The main courses were delicious and each day was different. They have coffee throughout the day and a water cooler to refill at. They are also open to providing hiking equipment, towels, etc. if you need them but didn't pack them. The location is great, right in town so we could park there after hiking for a long day and then walk to a restaurant for dinner. We definitely recommend Hearthside and can't wait to go back!

stayed three nights and i'm happy to report that this B&B has: charming and relaxing vibes, supportive and friendly hosts and house keepers, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts (and fresh baked cookies each afternoon), and an excellent location! would absolutely recommend! i stayed in a room with a private terrace, which was the perfect place to crack open a cold beer at the end of the day.

This place has a truly historic feel to it. Brian the owner cooks a GREAT breakfast. We stayed in the Winston Room and really enjoyed the patio and king size bed. This B&B is prime walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor and it's on a side street so you can't hear traffic or people. We would stay here again for sure!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! It's a shame that we couldn't have had the full experience but Brian, Catherine, and Sara have made it work given the state of everything this year. We couldn't have felt more welcome, our room was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent. We were in easy walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor and only a short drive to anywhere else on MDI. Our only complaint is that we always ended up eating too much of the delicious food prepared for us every morning! We plan to come back and stay here again, thanks again!
