We only stayed here for one night but everything was exceptional from the greeting and check in by the host, the lovely decorated rooms to the great breakfast before we ventured on the next leg of our trip. The lovely hostess greeted us, gave us a mini-tour of the space and we settled in as we were exhausted from visiting and hiking parts of Acadia. Minutes later the best thirst -quenching iced tea and lemonade were at our door- How thoughtful! There was good water pressure in the showers, a very nice garden to spend time in, unexpected AC and only a few minutes walk downtown. Overall, a great experience!!
Beautiful Inn! We had the time of our lives. The owners are wonderful. The room was clean and beautiful! We had a ton of fun!!!!
First time visitors to Bar Harbor to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On arrival, we were greeted by Diane and soon realized we had made an amazing new friend. Ken and Stacey have done a wonderful job with the house. Our room (Biscobel#5) was spotless, inviting and confortable. Breakfasts both days were varied and delicious and we especially enjoyed taking tea in the afternoon visiting with other guests. Only a short walk to restaurants, shops and the harbor. A great value and overall wonderful experience.
Great location, clean well furnished rooms. Decent breakfast. Can't go wrong staying here for Bar Harbor, but you'll need to book well in advance.
Great place to stay in Bar Harbour. The room in the back building was large, and had a wet bar and jacuzzi.
