Amazing find! The owner knows her stuff and has excellent taste
What a great place! Came upon it by chance (it's down an alley) while visiting Bar Harbor. Small but chock full of beautiful things; every inch of space is used to display all of the wonderful things for sale. Turns out the owner is one of the largest Maxfield Parrish dealers in the country. After waiting 40 years to buy some of his work because I was afraid of buying a fake, I bought three prints. The owner (and her Mom) is a sweetheart - a lovely person and patient as the day is long. Do go there!
Stopped by this hidden gem of a store during my trip to Bar Harbor. Beautiful selection of antique items (jewelry, china and much more) in amazing condition. The owner was so sweet and patient while I looked at (at least) a dozen of jewelry pieces. Definitely recommend this store to anyone who loves beautiful antiques (especially jewelry and teacups) and will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.
A real antique store, there for many years, a very nice change from t-shirts made in another country. It is down an alley with a great breakfast place whose name I can't recall. You may not buy anything here but have a look.
