Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shop Bar Harbor

This little bookshop is so cute! I'm really glad we decided to stop in. All the staff that were working when we went in were very helpful and kind and the selection was lovely! I especially loved the staff recommendations wall which seemed to be lovingly collected. Besides that there's art supplies, children's toys, and a little gift shop sort of area that has both unique offerings as well as some more generic stuff that you can find in other stores in the area, but I found that it was priced more reasonably :). In addition to that my friend picked up a little journal that apparently was hand made and bound by a local artisan!nnI really wish I lived closer so that I could visit more often, but definitely had a great time popping in!

An ok store. Lots of political ideas shoved down your eyes and ears. Other than that there are trinkets, kids toys, and autobiographies on one political party at every corner. In a beautiful island town where you go to unwind & escape every day life. The store is there to remind you that everything is still terrible.

An adorable book shop with a great selection. Stopped by twice and brought home more books than I should have bought! Friendly staff and diligent on keeping their capacity in the store to a limited number - a one in, one out; I believe it was 5 or no more than 10 customers at a time. Great place!

High prices. Trinkets. Kids toys. Book store. NotnMuch on Acadia. But a lot on bar harbor. Thought their political message was very over powering. Made this a quick pass. I wouldn’t recommend. Sad to have to go in this store, which has potential, and see their obnoxious political stuff. This is a small town. People go to vacation. This store doesn’t fit.

This store has some cool stuff and lots of books. Judging by the floors, it appears to me this store's building has been here for a long time.nThe staff here is friendly. There are lots of fun and games type items here.nNice place to visit when you're in Bar Harbor, Maine...
