Best ribs I've ever had in my life. Meat fell right off the bone. Even the bone itself was soft from the slow cooking. Love the dry rub seasoning - I personally hate drowning ribs in sauce (it comes with sauce on the side if that's what you prefer) but I really appreciated that I had the option of eating it dry or with sauce. Side of potato salad was amazing, coleslaw wasn't too soggy, and baked beans was awesome too. I don't typically even like corn bread but it was extremely soft and warm. This huge plate in the pic for just $17 (half rack of ribs shown in pic). Highly recommend the ribs. Service was awesome too, and lots of seating indoor and outdoor. Next to ice cream place.

Just like everywhere in Maine, Mainely Meats BBQ was on top of their COVID compliance. Name, phone at the door. Hand sanitizer all over the place and a great job of cleaning and sanitizing the tables when people left. After four days of eating lobster, I got tired of it and wanted something different. The BBQ was awesome! Got the combo, chicken, pulled pork, ribs and sausage. Came with beans (yummy), coleslaw, cornbread and potato salad. Could not finish it all and I love to eat. Wife got the full rack of ribs, again, brought it back to finish for dinner. The outside ambience was amazing and so relaxing for lunch. Athena was our server and walked us through the menu when we had questions. The rest of staff was great too, very friendly and there was a lot of teamwork going on to make sure you were happy. Did I mention they are next to the brewery? Great beers even though the brewery was closed.

No kidding, this is some incredible BBQ. Sauce is sweet but addictive. Get the sample plate or the Max Platter (4x the sampler) if you have a lot of people. The beans, coleslaw and jalapeño corn bread sides are wonderful but skip the potato salad, it’s bland (sub in more beans!). Atmosphere is very pleasant out under the trees next to Atlantic Brewing.

Sooooo good! The pulled pork was so juicy and flavorful (I didn't even use sauce because I didn't want to mask the flavor), the ribs had a great rub with lots of meat - not too fatty, coleslaw & beans super as well. Fun atmosphere!
