Excellent experience at Paddy’s this week. We were skeptical at first because it was our “hotel restaurant” connected to the West Street Hotel but that was a silly thought - this place is really quality.nnIt was extremely clean and diners were adequately spaced for COVID, very impressive. Shout out to our server Shannon who made the entire experience really shine.nnThe food was wonderful, particularly the large pretzel and cheese and the burger with bacon jam - and the fries are a step above other fries. Really tasty, everything came out quickly, correct, perfectly cooked.nnBut the real best part was Shannon, he was one of the finest servers we have ever had anywhere and made the whole night. Thanks to him for being a consummate professional and so helpful.nnA very enthusiastic recommendation from me to check out Paddy’s, it’s totally worth it.

This was a surprisingly great find for us. We’re visiting Bar Harbor at the end of season, so we found ourselves with few choices. We went to Paddy’s and had a great time. Our server Shannon made our experience fun- he has a great personality and made sure to offer up some awesome suggestions. Our food all came out quickly and was correct. The food itself was great- everything was cooked well and tasted even better. The restaurant seemed very COVID safe- all parties were spaced appropriately and you could tell it was very clean. We would love to go back.

Only reason I am giving 4/5 stars is because they kept the doors open so dining inside was very chilly. Our server, Alex, was very nice. We enjoyed all our food - the corned beef was served with the broth and not many vegetables which was disappointing for the price, although it was delicious. Our burgers were cooked perfectly. The corned beef sandwich was divine, the cabbage wasn’t too strong at all. Mostly, we were enamored with the truffle fries. They were SO good. Worth the visit for sure!

Visited Paddy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine for the first time. This place easily has one of the best locations in town for a restaurant. It’s right on the corner of two of the main streets, next to the harbor and marina. Keeping in the spirit of the Irish pub, we ordered burgers and beer (and a giant pretzel appetizer). Although we ordered the burgers, it wasn’t an easy choice, since rest of their menu was full of excellent looking options... beer battered fish and chips, steaks, rotisserie options, etc. Both the service and food were fantastic. The burgers were cooked perfectly to temp and doneness, a good portion, and very flavorful and satisfying. I really enjoyed the food, but the “truffle fries” weren’t my favorite.. although, they were hit and crispy.. maybe I just don’t like truffle fries. Our server was friendly, and attentive.. in spite of a busy restaurant, she always had time to check in. Overall great spot for upscale/casual pub food. Check it out!

We stayed at the West Street hotel for three nights this summer and were incredibly surprised by the quality and variety of this restaurant located inside the hotel. Breakfast was served directly to our room, hot and delicious! Dinners were priced fairly and were high quality and flavorful. Dessert was awesome! What can I say? I'd highly recommend this place :)
