I brought my rabbit Zeus in because he needed to have his eye removed, Dr. Smith was amazing and explained everything he was going to do before he did it during the initial exam. The next day he performed the enucleation and two weeks later Zeus is thriving, for a one eyed bunny he's doing better than he was prior to the surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Smith for essentially saving my bunnies life and preserving his quality of life. I definitely recommend this Veterinary clinic for all your pet needs including exotic, they are highly professional and your little babies will be sure to thank you!

I brought my rescue chameleon in to examine a bubble on his eye. I told the vet and staff that I believe, from my research and from references, that it was a vitamin A deficiency. The vet, Mr. Smith, told me that it was not from any sort of deficiency, that it was just “build up” and he got it out with a probe. Guess what? It was vitamin A deficiency. He also sent me home with paperwork stating that Clancy was a female. I assumed the vet knew what he was doing, even though I believed Clancy was a male. He stated “due to the lack of tarsal Spurs, small casque, and no bump under the tail” he did not believe he was a male. Wrong. Clancy has all of those things after further inspection and research into what those mean. He also has vertical stripes, which are indicative of male chameleons. I would NOT recommend bringing your reptile here. They give you the wrong information which could lead to serious illnesses and diseases. You could honestly get better information from doing the research yourself or getting advice from other experienced chameleon owners via Facebook. Be careful and find an exclusive exotic/reptile vet.

I absolutely recommend the doctors and staff at Yarmouth Vet Center. Dr. Smith took incredible care of my cat until the end. If you're aiming to find a Vet that truly cares, look no further.
