I was attracted to this church by its contemporary worship and Bible-teaching sermons... HOWEVER when I tried to connect and be honest with my struggle and current circumstances I immediately felt misunderstood and falsely judged by leaders when I stepped out in faith and asked for prayer from people who didn't know me at all. Unfortunately these people didn't take the time to get to know me, my circumstances, my love for Jesus, and my dedication to following the Spirit's guidance in my life. I've since moved on and found a church family that values sitting down and talking with people, getting to know them without judgement, loving them, supporting their growth in developing a relationship with God, all without compromising Bible-teaching and Spirit-led sermons with incredible contemporary worship.

This church provided me exactly what I was looking for. Hope. The people here are kind, respectful and loving. I’ve now been going to WP for 2 1/2 years and consider the people of this church my family. Please come and join us! They have great live music and an amazing child program!

My wife and I moved to Portland from Pennsylvania and found White Pine by searching for a local church in the area. We have found a new home at White Pine. We have made so many friends through the church and a strong support system. We found the teaching solid and the people friendly. The music is contemporary and found many opportunities to get involved.
