I used this company a few years back and was extremely satisfied with their product and customer service. I just had them replace a fence in a smaller area of my property. This time the the customer service from Richard, the president, was sub par. I was treated professionally and politely when I would call the office. It would take several attempts to have a call back from Mr. Schiffer. Maybe the project was too small or not worth his time. Maybe his back problems were causing him to be miserable, who knows? I put my deposit down in October 10th and they finally came in January 10th. Not a big deal for me. The fence is finished. I find black mold on portions of the fencing and notify the office. Instead of offering to remedy the complaint I was told to spray a bleach and water solution on the wood by Mr. Schiffer, the president of Canton Fence. Great customer service Mr. Schiffer!
Best prices, service, family-owned fence company. You will not find a better fence company. Unlike the giant store, they do it all themselves -- from estimating , to installation, and follow-up. Their personnel are responsive, professional, and courteous. We had our fence installed in early November. After this Nor'easter, our fence was listing inwards. Canton Fence had a crew out at our home the next morning! Call CF; you won't regret it.
