I'm writing this review as a cautionary tale. This brokerage does not perform with much integrity and seems to operate solely for their own benefits. Our experience started when we found a lot in Hollady. We reached out to Kyle Jones to see if it was under contract. It was. My husband asked them if they would call us if by chance anything went wrong. About a week later we received a call that the lot was available again. We of course jumped for joy and expressed that we wanted to buy it. We also asked why the other offer fell through incase there were some issues we needed to be made aware of. Kyle explained the home the previous buyer wanted simply would not fit on the lot. He then asked us to make sure we would not have the same problem. My husband said we could get our builder out there to make sure and also offered Kyle $1000 in earnest money to make sure we had the lot while we get things moving. He emailed us stating that wasn't necessary and that there were no other interested parties. He asked us to please make sure we did our due diligence with the builder and have him go out and make sure our plans would fit. We did. We also have all this in writing. Long story short, he called us the day before he asked us to make the offer and said someone else was now interested and we'd be competing. This would not have happened had he let us make the offer. He worked us to up the price and gain commissions on both sides of the transaction. Kyle Jones is the one and only reason we lost this lot. Yes we should have forced a contract but we trusted Kyle at his word. He also promised us (in writing) we'd have first right of refusal. He never even came back to us to match the other offer so that was also a lie. I contacted his broker, Katie Bush, explained the situation and told her I was more than happy to send her our communications. She tried blaming us for the situation and we do take ownership of not enforcing the contract. Katie wanted to speak to Kyle and get his side of the story and get back with me. Never heard from her again. I filed a complaint with the board and have sought out legal help. I will also mention that everyone I have mentioned this to (which is many), has expressed they have heard many bad things about this brokerage. If you need help from a realtor...seek elsewhere.

We didnt have an agent represent us or review the purchase agreement and they made sure make sure we dont make that mistake again. Never work with them without representation. it will cost you money

Century 21 Everest is, in my opinion, the most fraudulent and untrustworthy Real Estate Company in Utah! After returning from a Military Deployment in the Middle East, I needed to sell my home. During the process, Century 21 Everest, misinformed me multiple times, required be to pay ridiculous fees and ultimately lost my family and I thousands of dollars. All this because I was swindled into listing my home with them after they gave me the impression that they could sell it faster and for more money. After this truly catastrophic experience, I will never list my house with Century 21 Everest of Centerville Utah.
