I really didn't like anything in the store. The only reason we went in there shopping was because nothing in Mesilla opens till 11 am (FYI). She was supper nice to those that were white. My nephew and I are both Coyotes, so it wasn't till I got to the register did she hear my accent. She did not help us out at all we did our thing. Sometimes I play the game, that day all I wanted was a spicy margarita from the Double Eagle restaurant across the way.

The lady working there is super rude! She was not friendly at all and when I asked to see something she told me the price instead of showing me the actual item. (I felt like I was reliving the “Pretty Woman” movie scene) Also, she thought that we were going to steal a bracelet! We were leaving and she kept asking where we had put it back, I had to go back and show her where it was placed. SUPER RUDE! Never going back.

If I could give this place zero stars I would because of how my African American husband was rascially profiled. The moment we walked into the store the woman working as the cashier clerk started staring him down giving him the evil eye. I thought maybe she could be just doing her job and keeping an eye on all the customers, but even as the store became more busy, her eyes would not leave my husband! She wouldn't even look at the other customers that were trying to get her attention to check out. My husband moved around the whole store looking at things and I stood one place and just watched this woman stare him down. We were in the store for about 5 minutes until I couldn't take it anymore and instited that we leave and not give this woman any of our business! Our friend that was with us called the clerk out on it when we were leaving and the clerk denied it of course. We will never go back!

I'll NEVER go again and I'll be sure to spread the word to my friends and colleagues. The cashier was Prejudice/Racist. Three of us walked in the store and I noticed the cashier staring at me and my friend while we were looking at sun glasses. Well I assumed she was just watching people walk in. No. She continued to follow my African American friend through the whole store and was blatantly obvious about it. I moved away and watched her soley focus on my friend. I said something to her and she said she 'was doing her job'. I'm appalled to find this kind of treatment of someone in this town.

Clerk seems racist if you ask me. After she attended a caucasian woman very nicely, I asked if she had a mirror and she rolled her eyes as if it was a bother to tend to me. Needless to say I put back the earrings I was looking at and left. As I was leaving then she says "thank you for coming by". What a hypocrite! She didn't say anything when she saw me walk in. Good luck going in this store if you are not caucasian.
