Allison De La Garza went above and beyond to help me stay enrolled at DeVry! My husband was recently furloughed from his job so I wasn’t able to afford paying for school out of pocket while being a full time student. Allison suggested I go part time and broke down the numbers for me showing me that I was able to continue towards my degree without having to pay out of pocket! If you’re ever in a financial pinch call and they will get you taken care of!

I love my advisor Allison Delagarza. Having her support, and empathy and compassion and just being able to call her whenever has been so key to the huge steps I have been taking in my educational career!

I called last week to speak with my assigned advisor but unfortunately was unable to speak with her. Yesterday, I reached back out and had the pleasure of speaking with Allison De La Garza. She offered to assist me with my concerns and went above and beyond for me. Thank you again Allison, I wish there was a way for me to assign you as my advisor.

College can be a struggle especially if you do not have the right support cast around you. From friends to family constantly breathing down your neck to make sure you pass your classes can be riveting. The support cast at DeVry is like any other. Without Allison de LaGarza I don’t know if I would have made it a whole year without trying to dropout. From daily check ins to making sure I stay on path words cannot describe the job Allison has done. Thank you!!
