I cannot express enough how wonderful Dr. Ford is. She also had to deliver some difficult news for my family, and her compassion was definitely there. Thank you, Dr.. Ford, for caring for our fur baby.
They pretty much overcharge on everything. A check up could cost you around $300. When you could go to a more personable vet and office for around $150. 10/10 would not recommend.
Over the last decade our family has had six pets as patients here at Barrington animal hospital. We have referred countless friends and neighbors to the practice. Today, our goofy fuzzy buddy Titan, a 140lb Alaskan malamute is not feeling well. We called to see if he could be fit in before they close for the day which was in an hour from when we called. We were told that they are closing in an hour and we should just go to the Buffalo Grove emergency vet. WHAT?!? We have spent tens of thousands of dollars at your practice and you can’t squeeze our dog in because he’s not feeling well? Since Dr. Stapleton has left the practice things have gone downhill steeply. I called and spoke with the practice manager to let her know what happened and that we would no longer be returning with any of our pets to their practice. I suggest that you do the same.
