I give Lexington a lot of credit. With everything going on these days, the nurses and staff still take care of their patients with a lot of love. My great aunt was recently there and every time my mom had a phone meeting with the staff or every time she called to check on my aunt, it was a comforting feeling. My aunt was nervous going in for therapy but she did good. She cannot go back home alone so we have decided to keep her at Lexington for Long Term Care. Since she was well cared for on their rehab unit, my aunt was happy with staying long term. We need to give essential workers more credit! Special thanks to Debbie at the front desk!

Today is my 89th day away from home. I fell backwards running up my stairs at home. Since the original injury I have had two operations on my right knee. I have had been in rehab centers and one acute rehab center and I find Lexington the BEST overall care. The nursing care is first rate! Janet K. is worth her weight in gold. She provides me the wound care nightly to keep my leg infection-free. An infection could really create major problems for me. We joke that we have a “date” at 9:00-9:30pm nightly! She is one of the best nurses I have ever met.nnElizabeth R. Is my CNA and I have absolute trust in her. I totally believe in her. She has my well-being as her number one concern. I think if her as my second mom at age 63. I greatly appreciate everything she has done for me and will do for me. She is also worth her weight in gold!nnMy doctor highly recommended Lexington at Lake Zurich and he knew was he was talking about!nnP.S. the food is very good and the portion size is more than enough.

Big kudos to Lexington of Lake Zurich. My grandma recently had a brief stay and received rehab. From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated with such care and compassion. Sera the unit manager presents herself in such a professional manner and cares like she’s your family. She explained everything we needed to know in such a clear and concise way. Grandma is back at home happy and healthy all thanks to the nursing/ therapy staff for helping regain her strength!

If I could give this facility zero stars I would. I went to go visit a family friend, on the first floor, and ran into a complete mess. I showed up, and the call lights were going off it was so loud that it made our whole visit overwhelming. The nurses were all sitting at the nurses station doing things not even remotely close to there work, on Snapchat and Facebook. There was a nurse there apparently the manager, Sarah. We could hear her complaining about her staff, other nurses and even doctors. How can a facility hire a person who talks down about staff, and colleagues like this. I was flabbergasted when I heard her speak. She is god awful, not professional at all. I hope something is done about this woman. I feel bad for the staff working with her.

They had a Private room for my father. Food had changed for the better since his last visit! Thumbs up to the Food Manager! Care was great! Especially with having Nurse Patti. She really loves what she does and it shows. No smell at all in the facility which was a plus! Rehab was great too. Keep up the good work!
