The NICEST people work here! I go out of my way to go to this post office because they’re so helpful and kind and pleasant.

Second time in a row this particular USPS has lost my package.nnThis time the map showed it being delivered to a different location and I had the proof, Patti the supervisor was very argumentative that the package had been delivered to my house, even though I had substantive proof that it was delivered somewhere else.

USPS in general is the worse package carrier service out there by far. I NEVER get a package from them without issue. I’ve had them leave my package “in a vacant mailbox,” I’ve had them leave my package on THE CURB in front of my house, I’ve had them leave packages in the middle of my driveway at the bottom where anyone can grab them. The Wauconda USPS has to be one of the worst in the country. No respect for customers and extremely unhelpful. I will never again have a package shipped USPS. If a company only offers USPS as a carrier, I will go through a different company with other carrier options. Yesterday I had a package “promised delivery signature required” I took half the day off to receive the package. They never showed or updated information until this morning. Now I’m at work and they refuse to leave my package with a neighbor THAT I AUTHORIZED to receive the package as I can’t miss more work due to their incompetence. They now tell me I have to go pick it up by tomorrow afternoon or they will ship it back to California. Do people who use USPS not have jobs or something? I use shipping carriers constantly, never have ANY problems with UPS, FedEx, DHL, or Amazon!

So, today (5-25-19) I had a Manila envelope coming in the mail to my parents house on Farmhill Cir. Having moved to Lakemoor on the 1st of this month ...this was the final package I had being delivered to Farmhill cir. I was going to patiently wait until 3pm or so until it gets delivered but I had other places that I had to be at before 3. So I figured I would try and find the mailman to politely ask for my envelope so I could be on my way. Typically Tim is my mail carrier but today it was some younger guy with a poor attitude . I found him not far from my parents house at all and politely asked him if I could get an envelope I was waiting on . (Farmhill is the last street to get the mail according to him). It was as if I was asking him something so bizarre. He said normally the carrier wouldn’t do such a thing, but I know from experience that they do. Looking annoyed and frustrated he opened the back of the mail truck and literally looked around for a second or two before saying “I have nothing for *** Farmhill Cir” . I understand they have a job to do but it’s not like this was something being repeated by me on a weekly basis. So I drove off and am waiting patiently until he delivers the package he apparently doesn’t have. ( The envelope I’m waiting on is very important and something I need before I travel a good distance back to my new place)nnAnyways, just venting about my experience. Would of much rather had Tim delivering like usual. He’s nice and always professional .
