My experience taking my green cheek conure to see Dr. Zollinger could not have been a better experience. My conure was about 5 months old and I had just recently brought her home. Dr. Zollinger was very attentive, personable, and engaged. She spent so much time with Pixel (my conure), my girlfriend, and me. Pixel was surprisingly well behaved, but Dr. Zollinger was so good with her. She listened to her heart, and examined her very thoroughly. She printed us out several pages detailing Pixel's optimal diet and training methods and answered all of our questions thoroughly. I honestly felt guilty for how much time she was spending with us. However, to be honest, it may have just felt that way because of how personable she was. I am a 4th year medical student and I will be finding out where I am going for my residency in March. I hope I stay local so that I can keep taking Pixel to see Dr. Zollinger.
