Good people, good tradition, good history. Very friendly community. I don’t love a huge church and always felt a little lost, but that’s more on me than them. Good place worth taking a look.

I have been going to this church since shortly after my divorce (about 17 years ago). I had raised my children in the Catholic church after joining when I married. I was very involved there (my children attended school there as well) disappointed during that and having had trouble with some of the doctrine and teachings, I started looking for somewhere else to attend. The Church of the Resurrection was recommended to me so I checked it out. What a difference! The people there were genuine followers, the teaching (shared by several pastors, deacons, and lay people) was beyond remarkable. I felt as if I had come home. It was and continues to be a safe place for sinners like me who know they need Jesus. I also love it because of the traditions of the high church (the sacraments, liturgy, and worship with both traditional hymns and contemporary music). I knew immediately that I was around people that not only talked the talk but walked the walk.
