I rehearse and perform here with the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale. The well-lit dual-level sanctuary is spacious and attractive, complete with a grand piano and a massive pipe organ. Acoustics are exemplary. In addition to religious services, the sanctuary serves as a marvelous venue for musical and theater productions. College Church is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Wheaton and directly adjacent to the Wheaton College campus.

Pros: music taken seriously. No insipid praise choruses. Packed house. Looks like they take church seriously here.nCons: the sermon didn't sound at all like the meaty, weighty fare on their radio broadcasts but was a bit light today.nWorth checking out again, give the sermon another chance on another day.

College Church is a very welcoming place to those who are of the faith and those who may be seeking to learn more-- and yet it retains a firm commitment to Biblical authority. The sermons are built on the firm foundation of Scripture and present the Gospel in a clear and winsome way. There are several adult communities and small groups in which anyone can participate. The children's ministry is phenomenal and intentional. They have a robust and developed disabilities ministry.nWhile dress learns toward the traditional formal side on Sunday mornings, many come more casually dressed.

A welcoming place. We were there for a conference and with the exception of the front desk secretary, the staff was totally focused on hospitality.

Great that they were open on a snowy Sunday.nPiano player sang a self written beautiful song. I could feel her hunger for God in her music.nOther scheduled music was stoic, unrelatable and confusing. I mean, singing 1 song each to the different titles of God. (Father, Son, etc). That's crazy.nPlus, sitting on 3rd row I couldn't clearly hear the speaker.
