I volunteered to do childcare at the outreach center on 6th St.nnThey did not do background checks on the childcare volunteers. They did not make the outreach center child safe before they began accepting children from infant to elementary age. The backyard was not fully fenced in and there was debris with wood and metal near the play area.nnThey also had a policy of never turning away a child no matter how many were brought, regardless of the number of volunteers.nnOther volunteers and I repeatedly voiced our concerns to the church representatives at the center and they eventually started ignoring us. I left and reported the situation to DCFS.nnI don't know what happened but please verify that it will be safe before you leave your children alone with anyone from this church.

My wife and I have been going to Christ Community Church for about 6 years we love serving in many ministry's at this church. We love that they serve people and love on people. They have and incredible praise and worship and they focus on music that ties in with God's message for that day. My wife and I look forward to every Sunday to serve others for God's Kingdom and they have many programs for all age groups

I've recently started going here and several things stand out to me. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming and genuinely come to celebrate and worship. There are many, many opportunities for people of all ages to get involved both in the Church and to serve the community. I feel like there's a better amount of diversity in the ages and backgrounds of people who come here than in other Churches I've been to. Services are contemporary and there are video screens used to connect with the St. Charles campus and that's new to me- but the wonderful people and spirit of service make up for it. I started a large group women's Bible study and there were around 80 wonderful women of all ages taking this course. Really glad I found CCC!
