Nice hospital but it will be nice when we are allowed to bring our pets back inside to see doctor as the back has limited parking and I'm sure waiting room is big enough to have a few people inside and be six feet apart. You should have option of whether you want to bring your pet inside or to back of hospital for staff to come get your pet and also the doctor having to come outside as well to discuss your pet's condition. Looking forward to be able to visit the inside of hospital in near future to service my pet.
Service was great.
I've worked with various vets here for the last 10 years and will continue to go. They treat my little dude as if he was their own, of course my guy gets a little nervous when he goes butv he's always been in great spirits when he returns. Would recommend for any pet owner.nCovid protocols have been incredibly well managed.
This is an amazing animal hospital and veterinarian office. I highly recommend to bring your fur babies to this place. Fast and efficient but very careful when doing their job. Fair prices and services they offer. I love this place and so do my fur babies.
My kitten needed emergency attention today. Fortunately, so I thought, I can see, Portage park animal hospital from the front of my building. I threw on a coat and mask and bundled my little kitty up and rushed over. I was stopped at the entrance and told, I couldn’t enter the building due to covid rules. I told the receptionist that the kitten is dying and really needed help. She checked to see if a vet was available but, came back to say, they were busy with appointments and that, I would need to make an appointment for the kitten to be seen; on February 3rd.nMy kitten died in my arms shortly after arriving home.nIt’s not to say that she wouldn’t have died in their care but, it pretty infuriating that they never gave her a chance. They’re supposed to be the people who help neighborhood pet owners in emergencies; maybe they should take the words ‘animal hospital’ out of their name.
