I Got pulled over on 10/29 for improper use of cell phone, the officer presented the ticket to me which I was fine with cuz I was talking on the phone. I asked him how much since the ticket didn’t say, he said you will pay $75. That’s what Illinois law states for first offense. But the day I tried to make the payment on their website, I was shocked that I became a conviction and that I have to pay $166 and take 4h safety classes. I don’t know if the officer lied to me and mislead me and later he screwed me over. Or it’s the office mistake putting in the ticket in the system. I’m really NOT happy with this And feel THAT IT IS VERY UNFAIR .

they break the law and think that they are all free and eat a car of 40 miles an hour without a signal and put people in the ticket without legal status
