The Elf Shelf has never let me down. From children’s books to fiction to the hard to find. Sure, I’ve found things for a bit less on Amazon, but why wait for it to be shipped when you can support a local guy and get what you need right now? Plus, the conversations in the store are always appreciated. Keep up the great work!

We love the Elf Shelf! I could spend hours browsing with delight through the shelves of this family-owned bookstore. We’re in it for the books, but there’s a big selection of records too, and the owner is usually playing something interesting that passersby and shoppers alike can enjoy.
Great spot to find gently used books and records, reasonably priced and always friendly staff, downtown on Adams Street with lots of great places to stop for a meal or a beer nearby.
