Greater Alton Church is a high demand church. You will be expected to attend Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and a small group meeting every week. You will be expected to pay tithes in addition to paying special contributions. You will be expected to submit to your small group leader. You will be expected to confess your sins to your small group leader. You will be expected to agree to every point of their doctrine or you will not be welcome. You cannot be a practicing homosexual and be welcome at this church. You will be expected to continually recruit new members. You will be expected to put this church before everything, including your family.nnUnless you are willing to give up a significant amount of your time, money, and energy, then Greater Alton Church is not the church for you.

First of all- ALL of the 5 star reviews are from current (cult) members.nBe warned- do your research- you can also google “the crossings” a now excommunicated sister church of greater Alton church in rosewood heights. (They are both STILL run in the same manor with the same belief system)nnMyself, my Husband and our 6 daughters were once members of this cult. After leaving 7 years ago, day by day, our eyes re-opened and the devastation of messes created by above mentioned members was catastrophic. There is a support group available for excommunicated members. To the elders- shame on you for the damage you’ve created across the board. Stories shared in our support group are heart breaking.

A great, welcoming group of people with good hearts. This church focuses on God's Word and pointing everyone to God.

Positive experience. Unpretentious where no instruments are used for praise songs. Well rounded biblical sermon series show what happened, how it applies to your life, and how to proceed in life for a closer walk with God. Sunday morning services at 8:30 and 10:00.
