Hy-Vee

The items I need are there. Produce is good. However trying to find someone to help you is crazy difficult. So much for helpful smile in every isle. Lol. But I'll still shop there.

Great sales

The staff is very friendly and hardworking. The breakfast food is excellent with large portions.nnCaveat: The dining area is old, out-of-date, rundown -- and not reflective of the staff or the Hy-Vee brand. (There are west-end greasy spoons with better decor. What is going on here?)

This Hy-Vee is the store that time forgot. They don't have a full size meat counter, and overall this place is not only small but somewhat claustrophobic. The selection was far below what one would expect from a chain of this caliber. Not to mention the lack of items in stock made this for a very frustrating experience. Another glaring fault were the lack of employees and the few that where on duty clearly did not want to be their or be bothered with questions.

We have always shopped at hyvee Rockingham but tonight it just shows that everywhere changes. It went from having employees that care and were respectful now seems that no one cares. Workers standing at register complaining about others loud enough for everyone to hear and the one that checked us out just acts like she doesn't want to be there. I miss the friendly faces and feeling like you matter.
