They screwed up my bill. After calling 3 or 4 times to fix it I have given up. I was very polite on the phone and they didn't want to help me. They lost a customer over $103.70.nnThey demanded I pay $200 upfront for the first visit. I asked them to call my insurance and verify that was correct. The receptionist either called the wrong number or flat out lied to me.nnAsking for money upfront is a shady practice. I have good insurance. I have good credit. Just send me a bill after the visit and I will pay it.

This office is a Network Provider for my Health Plan. This means they are required (per contract) to Submit Patient Billing to the Health Plan. Upon Arrival, I was told I needed to pay for the Office Call Upfront. I advised they were not to collect money upfront. She said it was office policy to do so. I asked how much the Office call was and she said $200 which I relunctently paid. Then they proceeded to file an Office Visit charge with my Health Plan escalating the bill to $328 (not $200, as stated) and now want another $128 from me. I seen the Dr. for 2 minutes who advised me to quit caffeine for the ringing in my right ear. There is actually no known reason(s) why people get ringing in the ear, so don't bother with a Dr. Visit for it. I would not recommend this Office and have filed a complaint for attempting to take advantage of my Health Plan. Had I been told the office visit was $328, I would have left.

This office is terrible. They are so money hungry it is ridiculous. I ended up having to pay a lot of money out of pocket because of what the office predicted my insurance would cover. Almost a year later I got another EOB from my insurance stating that they paid out X amount of dollars. When I add what the insurance company has paid out, plus what I paid out of pocket it was way more than my bill and yet they are trying to tell me that they do not owe me anything. I would highly NOT recommend using this office due to lack of correct billing. On another note Dr. Johnson was very caring and did great with my daughters surgery but the financial part is just a mess.

Dr. Johnson and his staff have been so kind to work around issues with my insurance. They have been very thorough in explaining the procedures I need to have and demonstrate a sincere interest in my welfare. I’m very impressed and feel secure in their care.
