Nauvoo Visitors Center

I have family that lived in Nauvoo for quite some while. Coming to the visitor center helped me to learn and understand about their lives and spirits. And amazing institution. I would highly recommend making it part of your visit plans.

Such a wonderful spirit here in Nauvoo. The visitors Center is especially warm and caring, full of volunteers that will answer any and all questions.

The exhibits are beautiful and deep.nThe plays and movies are very touching and inspiring, be ready to cry.nYou can also get tickets to the carriage ride here.nDefinitely recommend it to anyone.

I have been to Nauvoo many times and there is something about the Visitors Center that speaks a very happy message: “You are home. You are in Nauvoo.” The Promise is a really great show done in the theater during the summer by the young performing missionaries and everybody loves it! Nauvoo has SUCH an amazing spirit! I strongly recommend coming in July when the Pageants are going on (down the road from the visitors center)! Make sure to get tickets for the shows and rides necessary (The Promise, Just Plain Anna Amanda, the wagon ride, and the carriage ride all require tickets. The Pageants don’t.).
