had 6ish appointments in a two months span to fix all of my teeth before my insurance ran out. they did THREE root-canals in ONE evening, staying over time to make sure ever single root was out, then taking time (after they should've gone home) to make sure my impressions for my crowns were good! i have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about Children's Dentistry Of Decatur, they made the hour drive worth ever second; every appointment comforting and easy for me myself.

been going here for years, i am 18 now, they told me i was going to have to have a deep cleaning done, which is fine with me. they told me if i didn't get it done ASAP; my teeth were going to essentially fall out. i left crying and terrified. they told me they would call me within the week to confirm if my insurance covered it, and i didn't hear from them for over a month. eventually, they got back to me and made my appointment over a month away. if it was So urgent, i needed to go in immediately. so, me being in medical school, i went to get a second opinion, and i'm so glad i did! they told me my teeth were healthy, but i had some decay and a filling that needed to be done! they cleaned, with mr nose, and with a light sedation a few days ago, 0 pain! always seek a second opinion, because for years this dentist has made me terrified to go, and has continuously put me down for not taking care of my teeth, when in reality, i do take care of them! saved me a lot of money and pain by seeking another opinion. coming from the child who has gone here, don't take your children here!

My kids(all 3) had an appointment for 1:00 as new patients and we were out by 2. They were great will my kids. Very nice staff. Big waiting room. Loved it.

My 8 yr old grand daughter was told to stop whining - they were just trying to fix her tooth! Great PEDIATRIC care. NOT! Also, their website states they are open on Fridays which they are not. Every OTHER Friday. However, this will not be an issue for us. Moved on.

I have a foster child I took here because this was their established dentist but if I knew what type of care they would receive I would have taken them somewhere else. This child had never had their teeth cleaned or probably ever brushed and had multiple rotten teeth. The total cleaning lasted less than 5 minutes. I think 90% of the kids I saw in the office had silver caps. If they have actually proper cleanings and good education, the kids would have better over all oral health and not need so many caps and fillings. I will say the staff is nice and friendly but that doesn’t make up for the lack of proper oral care these patients are receiving.
