Excellent food. Spices were good but not quite strong enough for my taste. Restaurant provides a very nice change to the common fare. I will not hesitate to eat there often!
First off, I have lived in Belize and Haiti and have eaten quite a lot of Caribbean food. Punta Cana nails it! We had Stew Chicken, rice and beans and plantains and were blown away by how authentically they were done. Everything was absolutely delicious. We sat outside, but there is a trailer of inside seating as well. They don't speak much English, which told me they are the real deal! Nothing fancy, no alcohol, no frills, just fantastic food and great prices. We will be back!
We were immediately greeted by a staff member who was very helpful in describing our menu and seating options. They have outdoor seating or indoor which is a cute little bus. The atmosphere was very authentic and the food was excellent at a very affordable price. I definitely recommend checking out this little gem
DELICIOUS!!! I love the taste of Caribbean home cooking!!! The ladies serving the food were very nice. Just got back into town Sunday night, and I’ve been there twice!!! Will be going again very soon!!! I highly recommend this establishment. Help our local small businesses stay open!!!
The most amazing plantain burger everrrrrrrrr. It is so far the most delicious plate I have tried in Alabama so far. Sure we are coming back. Highly recommended. You won’t believe the prices.
