Animal Trax is a locally owned pet store that primarily focuses on pets like arachnids, amphibians, and reptiles; however, they do have the occasional odd mammal for sale as well (they had hairless guinea pigs the last time we were in there - so cute!). The staff is always super helpful and friendly and it's the only place in the Madison/Huntsville area that I am aware of that you can get feeder rats for your reptiles. Highly recommend!

My family loves Animal Trax. They're very helpful and knowledgeable. The sell live feeders of all kinds and sizes. We have been shopping here for years. Make regular visits almost weekly. It's a family owned and operated small business. Really nice folks. I highly recommend.

Animal Trax has been one of my favorite places to visit since I first moved to Alabama almost 10 years ago. The original owner, David, was super knowledgeable and kind, and I adopted my precious bearded dragon from him. The store was always super fun to visit to see a variety of reptiles. Since then, Jamie and her family have been running the store and it has improved immensely! They house more mammals and critters now, and they've built great displays for the geckos and a nicer open room for their feeders and rescues. Overall, the place is more modern and clean, less smelly (if you mind that), and always exciting. There's always something new to see. Jamie and her family are very kind and helpful and professional. Still my favorite place even under new management. I will be taking my grandkids here, and I don't say that for many places I've been. :) ❤ufe0f

The employees here are always super nice. They keep their shop and enclosures clean, and the crickets and worms we got here are big and healthy. Definitely recommend!

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions you may have. The building is very clean and smells decent considering the amount of animals they house. Everyone of their animals look very healthy and happy.
