Was visiting from out of town and decided to give this restaurant a try based on reviews. By far the very best lunch we have ever had. Southern food at its finest. Their secret sauce was so good we bought 2 bottles. Our bartender/server, Abby, was friendly, quick and made excellent drinks. We will definitely be back and highly recommend you go. Would give 100

The Black Cow has a great vibe for a slightly fancier but affordable date night or a night out with friends. The food is delicious and kind of unique.nWe got the fried green tomatoes that come stacked with fried feta and it is amazing! We couldn’t finish all of the feta because there was a lot but we enjoyed it. My husband got the steak sandwich which he loved with the horseradish sauce. I had the salmon BLT which somehow was even better than it sounds!

Decent food but not quite up to what I had imagined based on reviews. Had a 45 minute wait to get in and never got our appetizer. The burgers came medium rare and well done. (Both were order medium temp). Even though it was not cooked to order the food was still good. Neat atmosphere. I can’t rate a 3.5 but that would be my rating. Not a 4.

Awesome time here, I try to hit it whenever I am in town. The fried green tomatoes were fantastic. I also had half a steak sandwich and half a steakhouse burger with fries and green beans. The steak sandwich was not my favorite. It had good flavor but was far better out of the sandwich. The burger was great and the blue cheese added good tang. The fries are mediocre and the green beans squeaked when chewed. Overall, great place to eat.

This was a cute restaurant in downtown Columbus. We parked, took a stroll and randomly decided where to eat. I’d say we picked correctly. From the friendly staff to the pleasant family friendly atmosphere we enjoyed lunch with our three children. I suggest the fries green tomato tower with the fried goat cheese! The hamburger steak and chicken Marsala were some of the best we have eaten (ever). We will be visiting again, and sending some friends your way!
