The school looks good and enticing on paper, and maybe even after the first visit. The framework is there for a good college experience, but it is poorly executed. Since several students can't find anything interesting to do on the area, most of them revert to partying and drinking. The commitment of the student body is reflected by it's average 2.9 GPA.nnThe dorms were beyond awful: small, noisy, dirty bathrooms, and expensive. The food is worse than the dorms in both taste and quality, especially if you're and athlete trying to eat for recovery and performance.nnI transferred in from another school, and transferred out after one semester. In my transfer process, I still had problems with the registrar and student life offices. They take incredibly long to get anything done (i.e., send transcripts & fill out Student Reports).nnI will say that the professors were, for the most part, fantastic. They were committed and knowledgeable, and the small school environment allowed them to work very closely with students. This allows students to make of their education what they want. However, the commitment of the students themselves drag down the standard of the curriculum as a whole.nnI would not recommend this school for anyone who is from out of state, is interested in research opportunities, or is looking for a scholarly environment.

When you can't get into the local Community or Junior College, come here. The requirements for admission are embarrassing low (lol jk, they don't exist) so everybody gets accepted. Assuming you can pay. They care less about academics and more about making money. They also have a huge athletic program (I believe the conference they belong to is made up because as a former Division 1 collegiate athlete, I had never heard of it). Security is a big fan of harassing the students and catcalling female students. Which normally I would find gross but (have you seen the male security guards?) in this case its just sad and pathetic but obviously acceptable and actually supported behavior by the administration. Hopefully the school will run out of money eventually and have to close. But I guess as long as Mommy and Daddy make the minimum monthly payment they will be safe for now. They have an entire learning center available for students that are too lazy to do their own work. They also have a program that allows helicopter parents to continue to smother their adult children by sending them to the school early (or over the summer) so they can be treated like the special snowflakes that their parents raised them to be.

Graduation ceremony is a fiasco. No limit on attendees. Not enough seating. Handicap seating no where to be found? Students and faculty handing out programs not much help unless directly questioned. No one telling about seating in balcony. 85 year old step grandfather ckimbed to the top of building. One way to help is to restrict attendance. Not favorable, but at least you don't druve hours to stand in hall. College has been here 100 plus years and hasn't figured it out yet. Embarrassing.
