This place should have their post office credentials pulled. Avoid!
THIS IS NOT A POST OFFICE!nYes they are very rude.
This is not a real postal office. This is part of a gas station shop and they do not do certified mail.
couple of problems here. first you get no assistance purchasing postage, the register that is meant for the postal service is either broken, or just left off. There are other businesses that offer the same service and they will scan and provide a receipt even if you already have postage attached. That way you have evidence that you actually dropped off the package, as well as a tracking #. And that's the second issue. If you want to just drop off a package with postage already paid for they literally want you to just set it in a bin on the ground. So there is no security and if they lose, or worse, take an item with any value, there is plausible deniability. Bottom line, just drive up the road to the actual post office or use the drop off service in the gift shop on Bedford Euless road if the actual post office is closed. This business should have their postal privileges taken away.
