Dispatcher was very helpful and the two police officers who checked on my friend did so very quickly. Quick response time for the wellness check. He was okay, thank goodness.

My student driver daughter pulled on to Hall Johnson Friday afternoon and proceeded down the road towards Pool at the posted speed limit. Colleyville police pulled up behind us and started tail gating us. Then proceeds to quickly change lanes and speed around us. We passed the officer while they were sitting in the left hand turn lane behind another car and we were going straight.nnThe officer clearly exceeded the speed limit to get around us only to end up getting to the next red light first.nnThe officer did not use their turn signal.nnThis is pretty routine behavior for multiple officers I have observed so apparently it is a top down philosophy with this department that they don't have to observe and follow the laws they are enforcing.nnAs a dad its frustrating to drive the example that I want my kids to follow as I teach them to drive and have those enforcing the law set a poor example.nnAs a citizen its impossible to trust an officer that does not live by example.nnI did give two stars instead of one because someone complained about them speed patrolling glade road. I live on glade and given the mass of cars racing up and down the road I thought they never patrolled it. Clearly they did catch at least one of them so I gave one extra star :)

They do not take Domestic Situations seriously. Keep in mind that Crime seems to be low in affluent areas, it may not be because crime is low, but instead because the city aims to make it appear that way by not doing their jobs.

I used to love colleyville, I have lived here my entire life. However, I now am scared to go one mile an hour over the speed limit because I fear the harassment & cruel behavior I have consistently experienced in the past 5 years from CPD even though I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen. Such a shame as Colleyville WAS a lovely place to live.
