Rude front desk staff and the court is not flexible with their scheduled appointments. I had a very important meeting (scheduled by before to my court hearing) so I called the court to see if I could reschedule. A very rude staff member told me I could change the appointment however I would still have to go in the day before to request it. They don’t open till 9am. Well my job which pays me to pay for my citation starts at 8am. So I’d be missing even more time just to reschedule the appointment. The traffic court here is a joke. And the judge only appears once a week I believe. Show up first is all I can say. He’ll still see others before traffic citations, like mine was. Oh and the original citation I got was for failing to stop...several months later they want me to appear again to provide proof of insurance at the time of the original citation for failing to stop. I get to lose more time. See where this becomes a problem for folks who don’t have the privilege to show up to work once a week. Or folks who can barely afford their expenses now with prices rising everywhere. Statues of limitations on traffic violations are two years in Texas. I’ll be repeating this song in court.
The lady at the ticket counter is very rude!! She is just ignorant. I went there, returned without paying my ticket as she made me mad!! Would not recommend anyone to go to this place to pay ticket or to get any explanation on what to do next. Just pay it online if you don't have big ticket, else higher a lawyer which I did. Worst lady I ever talked to!
