The Police of Richland Hills always go the extra mile. I have seen Richland Hills Police Officers go the extra mile to work at events that help many people in Richland Hills. They even helped with the dog shelter awareness activities. Our Officers are awesome!
They love shining bright spot lights at peoples houses. When me and my grandma moved to Richland hills. A police officer pulled up to my uhaul and asked a bunch of questions. I told him we're moving in. Granted it was late. I advised him that he doesn't need our information because we haven't done anything wrong. He basically harassed my grandma for her name and number and told me I need too to leave and go back in the house or he could charge me impeding in a investigation because I wouldn't give out my information. I'm unloading things at my uhaul lol.. Most these people that work at Richland hills Police department don't care about your rights. There will be some lawsuits in the future. Just wait. Also don't be a minority. They will target you like crazy if you look slightly suspicious.
Just want to thank officer Rios and his partner for coming and investigating someone stealing my license plates off my car. Very down to earth officers. They're not the best at letting simple things go. The clerk in the courthouse is racist so if you're a minority please avoid getting a ticket here. The cops don't have anything better to do but run license plates all day everyday. Things get stolen and never returned. Don't get me wrong it's like 3/4 cool cops on the whole force the rest are judgemental or just racist. It sucks being Targeted on my way home all the time. Having to dip and Dodge to avoid a ticket from a bored cop. I really disagree with the way they pull people over for no reason and the courthouse clerk is a true evil woman.
The officers are friendly and helpful. We have called on them a few times for assistance and they have helped or gotten us to someone that could help.
