It was nice, clean and comfy; however I left my toiletry bag and have tried to get in contact with the hotel unsuccessfully. I would appreciate any help in this matter. Thank you
There was no soap in the room or at the front desk the night I stayed there. There were white stains (I'm sure I could guess what it was) by the window and on a bench. There was dried pee stains on the toilet when I checked in. And to top it off breakfast was put away when I went down 30 minutes before breakfast was to end.nThe night staff was nice though.
Very friendly staff . Spacious rooms and clean . Very safe outside in the parking lot ... Enough for me and my co-worker 2 fire up the grill and enjoy some cold beers .
I stayed in a 1 king bed. The room was mid size and decent. Upon checking in, I had to wait about 5min because no one was at the desk. Like most people, I checked my room for cleanliness. I checked the dresser and saw a packet with 1 pill left in it. I looked up the name of the pill & sure enough, they were Viagra pills. I double checked the bed sheets for cleanliness. At one point I had to go get something I left from my vehicle. On my way down, I was barked at by 2 large dogs. The dog owner and the front desk clerk seemed amused by it. One of the dogs aggressively came towards me. Fortunately for the hotel, the dogs didn't attack me. As I was heading out the door, I noticed a rock was there. I'm certain it's used so people can come in, without using the key card. That is definitely unsafe. The breakfast was decent. They had a few selections to choose from. My job gave me a discount for this hotel, so I'd probably stay again.
Need to spend a weekend at Tyler to visit family or for business?...the Holiday Inn offers you all the amenities you need. From great service, clean rooms and easy access to everything. Perfect option if you are in the area.
