My family & I just got home from camping for 3 nights!!!! We go camping once a year, and shelter #5 in Mineral Wells has been the most perfect place to go to!!! It has two main areas that we look for: easy access to the water for swimming and a beautiful rocky fishing spot! This area has both! Three nights, two adults, one child, and one car only cost us $150. I also love that their shelters have electric and running water! It is also good to know that this park is located very close to town, in case you need to run to the store for an item or two.nnIn case you stay in other shelters that do not have easy access to water, the park also has a public swimming part to it. The bathroom are also air conditioned and have clean showers with warm water.nnMy family and I, call shelter #5, PARADISE!!!!!nn(And because of covid-19, it is REQUIRED to make a reservation by phone or online. You can't just show up at the moment. We were able to back in 2018, but of course things have changed now. It still did not change the fact that shelter number five is Paradise. Due to covid, My family and I did make a reservation online first.nnPlease Like my review if I have been helpful to you. Hope you have a great time too!

Never going back!!! It was a bad experience No where to actually sit back and enjoy the Lake more tree's than water and the soda machine's steal your money and the store there is never open to refund your money or give you something in return.. I lost $2.00 In the soda machines and if machine's were broke there wasn't know OUT OF ORDER SIGNS on any of them they need to up grade on the machines and the Lake.. So don't go to to this Lake..

Maybe take some times to actually clean up around the sites. They waste more gas driving around all day instead of working.
