Dallas Northeast Campground

I cannot wait to return to this campground, this was the first time we have ever stayed in a cabin instead of a tent. This is the most beautiful campground I’ve ever been to. It is obvious the hosts have a lot of caring and compassion for this place. We made some amazing Easter memories.

Beautiful! Everyone that worked there and the other campers were so nice. It was amazingly clean! It has a stocked pond and all 3 of my girls caught their first fish there! The cabins are sweeeeeet! Can't wait to go back!!

I have been here at Dallas North East Campground when it was under the previous owners. It is now under new ownership. I’m a disabled, older Veteran with a 43’ foot fifth wheel. This park has made a complete 180 degree turn around. I’m still in total dismay. They have some very nice cabins and a couple of them you could fish off the back porch. Literally, the back decks are over the water. A nice walking path around the pond, basketball court, a gym in the works and a kids playground. They have some paved sites as well. I’m in a gravel site which fits my needs. No dust at all. The restrooms and showers are very clean. Washers and dryers that work. A game room and small store for your bare essentials and they sell propane on site. Staff is very considerate and social-able. The new owners care about their park and it shows. A family oriented park but still nice for us single people. The staff is very firm about people who break the rules. Which is a big plus. I moved here to exercise more and it’s dust free. The biggest plus for me is the pool. This park is worth checking out. By far the best park on this side of East Texas for the price. I will be here a while. All you have to do is come and check it out and you will be sucked in like me haha. It’s that nice. I was checking out some of the bad reviews. Those reviews which I looked at are when the park was under the previous owners. Believe me I know what you are talking about. This park is under new ownership and it’s like night and day compared to the previous owners. You won’t even believe your eyes. Did I mention they have storage on site. Y’all come back now.

Home away from home. These folks truly care about making your stay an excellent one. Amenities galore...fishing pond, dog park, pool, volleyball, park, laundry room, gift shop, arcade room, community fire pit. Such a fun place to be!

Needed a place to stay in NE Dallas area for an extended business trip, and luckily stumbled across this campground. The staff is super nice (shout out to Barbara, you're awesome). Scenic pond, plenty of area to walk my dog and an overall well manicured park. Appreared to be very family friendly if one has kids. I would recommend staying in the premium spots by the pond, roomier with extra big concrete pads with nice picnic table and fire pit. The other sites are still very suitable level gravel.
