Greasy. Fatty. Little flavor. Did I mention greasy? Macaroni and cheese watery with a powdered cheese flavor and texture. Did I mention watery? Beans were thick with what I am assuming was cream cheese and bean water flavoring with added salsa. Brisket was bad. The sausage was worse. Sausage was soggy. The only thing that was surprisingly good... their BBQ sauce. How this place has had 4 and 5 stars in the past is beyond me. I’ve never wanted my money back before until now. How they are in business is beyond me. The food we were served to go looked nothing like the pictures online or on the screen inside the establishment. This was bad. Real bad. I literally am nauseated. Wow. I never thought bad BBQ existed in Texas until now. My tastebuds deserve redemption.

Bodacious BBQ for me is always great,it's my opinion that they make some of the best brisket and ribs. I also love there potato salad and BBQ sauce,but on this particular visit I had something the pit masters at bodacious had come up with that I'd never seen or even heard of. Brisket stuffed deviled eggs,a regular deviled eggs(mustard style) topped with chopped brisket,I smothered mine with there award winning BBQ sauce and ate every bite. I always go to bodacious BBQ when I need to feed my BBQ hunger pains and I recommend you all doing the same. Not only is the food great ,the atmosphere is vintage and you always feel at home.
