Usually the food here is great. This time it seemed like they let it sit out for too long. Spicy chicken strips were hard and cold. Fries where cold and stale tasting. The regular chicken strips were barely warm. Mashed potatoes and gravy was great, like always. Rolls weren't soft and fresh tasting. All the corners were hard.
Out of a lot of items
Always get their chicken strips with the fried okra and mashed potatoes but they can't seem to put the fried okra in my box.
I was very disappointed with this location. I order a 2 piece white meal( wings only). I have order this at both locations in Beaumont ,have always received 3 wings, for one they are small. The manager , not friendly at all,informed me that, they don't do it anymore, and that I did order a 2piece (after stating only if they have extra and today they didn't). I have decided this will be my last trip here. Hopefully the other location will continue.
The fried chicken gizzards were fried to golden perfection. The sweet tea is perfect also not overly sweet not under sweet. The only drawback is that they cook it fresh so it takes a while to get your order.
