Saw them on my way to waffle house and figured it was a better option. This place is my kind of restaurant. Chicken fried steak was tender and correctly salted, which seems to be a rarity these days. Things were fresh out of the fryer. Corn bread wasn't dry. Good meal. Shelly agrees.
Good soul food with generous portions. Recommended if you're in the area. This is the chicken fried steak.
Had the fries pork chop lunch special, but it was a hard choice for sure. Everything looked amazing, and judging by how great the pork chop, mac and cheese, and greens were, I dont think there is a single thing that wouldn't be just as good. Fantastic value, really great food, and everyone is friendly. Top notch food and service, if you haven't tried Fat Boyzzz you're missing out.
Bake potatoes were good but they're much smaller now and the grilled chicken they put in it was cut up from a grilled chicken patty , just one not a lot of meat in potato but really good still.. I'ma try another dish next time
I've been to several soul food places from Georgia all the way over to Central Texas and this is hands-down the best soul food I've had. Their dressing is to die for, and the flavor is on point. I had the fried chicken and the breading is amazing, the cabbage is seasoned perfectly, and mac and cheese is great too. Will definitely be back!
