I will say upfront we are BBQ connoisseurs so this review reflects that. BBQ has evolved but this place has not. There’s nothing wrong with that if you like your grandpa’s BBQ. We got pork and brisket. The pork was good but it’s not pulled pork. The brisket was dry and not very smoky but still edible. The coleslaw was a bit too creamy and sweet like old school style. The beans have liquid smoke in them so we couldn’t eat them. The unsweetened tea was really good. I would come back just to get tea.

My husband and I just moved to Pottsboro and finally decided to try out this little barbecue place. The prices were very fair and the food was incredible! We ordered 30 minutes before closing and still got very good quality food. It seems to be family owned and they are all very sweet. We will definitely become regulars! I definitely recommend trying this place out!

On a recommendation, I visited for the first - and certainly not the last - time today. The chopped beef was delicious, tender with just the right amount of smoke. I was given a more than generous portion, plus a sample of their smoked sausage. Never had better! The bbq sauce was a perfect blend of tangy and sweet, with no vinegar aftertaste. Can hardly wait to go back to sample their sliced beef, ribs, and their turkey. I'm told their baked potato is incredible. You really should give them a try!
