During the May 2019 flood, I was trying to drive home when I had no choice but to stop and park my vehicle on the fire department's front lawn; due to the rapid water level increase. I was stranded for 3 hours before the department crew was able to come to the rescue. A special gentleman whom I believes name is Felix Vanegas, is my hero. He was the one whom got my stuck vehicle out of the muddy grass. I thought my car was a goner and that my only option was to call a tow company, that probably wouldn't be able to help until the next day. However, Felix was patient and caring. He had me out of the mud in no time and I drove off with ease.nThank you Sugar Land Fire Department Station #7 for coming to my rescue. Floods are a mess and certainly chaotic. With help needed in every direction, you all were still able to help a damsel in distress.nA special thank you to Felix Vanegas & Lt. Donnie Tomlinson (for helping me locate the gentleman whom helped me).
