Awesome vibe. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was amazing and well priced. 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 4 drinks was $100 before tip. As the friend who recommended said.....it's just Good!
I came here for the French Onion Soup and it was perfect! To be honest I have rather high standards when it comes to this soup and I was not let down. My waitress was kind and friendly!
Whenever anyone asks where to meet for lunch or dinner, I always say The Gavel! Inside/outside seating, excellent food, and a perfectly poured Guinness (thanks Paul!) makes this little Wrentham restaurant a definite must-visit. If there's a long wait, we often find a spot at the bar to enjoy dinner. Great place, Wrentham is so lucky to have you!
We went today for a nice lunch. We had reservations and sat outside. We were seated right next to the building in the back. Unfortunately, whenever the wind blew in a certain direction were could smell old garbage. We both got Gavel burgers. Delicious meal, except our burgers were more well done then how we requested. They were delicious and we were really hungry so we didn’t mention it. The service seemed somewhat low but the waiter was attentive and friendly. So wonderful to be out enjoying the day.
Went for dinner last night. The food & service was great!! Everyone was friendly and very accommodating!! The bartender Paul was amazing. He took care of the bar and our table without skipping a beat!! Highly recommend! It deserves 10 stars!!
