I called the local office to get Commercial Auto Insurance and was directed to call corporate for that type of policy. I called corporate, they took my information for a call back b/c the only person who was able to helpe was on the phone. I never got a call back. Staff was nice but they don't keep their work. Not a way to get business

Make sure you get them to give you a payment date that works for you at the start of the policy because they told me they could not change the date after I had started mine. i offered to pay the difference to have the payment date changed and have the extra few days pro-rated.This is pretty inconvenient if you get paid on a fixed schedule and payment is due before you get paid every month. If you get full coverage they require you to bring the car in to have pictures taken. They take a lot of precautions against the insurance company having any unexpected liability. I paid Amtex in advance for the first month after starting my new policy and despite the fact that I was paying my policy that day I was told I would not be able to change my payment date to a day that was convenient for me - ever. Then, the following month I received a noticed of cancellation pre-dated three days before I was supposed to get paid again. This is not good customer service for an insurance company. You should be able to change your payment date. I am paid on a fixed schedule like a lot of other people are and having a payment date that predated payday was not an acceptable situation. Because of this, I will be switching soon to someone else. They also charge you five dollars to pay in single payments in the office rather than setting up autopay.
