Waxahachie Police Department

Today I needed police assistance for a minor car accident... The officer who showed up was Andrew Gonzales. .. a thoughtful, pleasant, polite, helpful and knowledgeable young gentleman. I would like to thank the parents who raised him and the police department who hired him. Grateful thanks and best wishes to all. Respectfully. S. Hunter

With as much corruption as there has allegedly been in this county and certain cities within it, as a law abiding citizen, I wouldn’t trust anyone in any of the county or city positions with a chocolate chip cookie. I’m almost sorry to say all this, but there are valid reasons why. I have no issues with law enforcement in general. You see, I had once upon a time strongly entertained the idea of training to become a Waxahachie police officer. But a long time county judge, who also happens to be a friend, talked me out of it. He knows all too well about certain things that have gone on in Ellis County. The man speaks the truth.nnI have experienced harassment and stalking by city employees. It all started with just one bad employee. Once reported, there soon was revenge and intimidation tactics carried out by his fellow employees. This sort of stuff does go on in small town USA. Certainly doesn’t make it ok. Waxahachie isn’t so small town anymore, but that hasn’t stopped the stupidity and cruelty of certain employees there. Law enforcement outside of the county is aware of all of it. I’m not sure about all the exact reasons why, but I suppose the county and city of Waxahachie police were called to further exact revenge against me. I want everyone to know that this review was written by a law abiding citizen who doesn’t smoke, doesn’t drink, doesn’t use drugs, doesn’t dip or chew tobacco nor anything else. Never even had as much as a speeding ticket in my entire driving history. No criminal history whatsoever and don’t engage in anything criminal. Not saying I’m perfect or anything of that sort. Just giving some background info. Yet that doesn’t matter when people are out for revenge. You become a target and that is all that seems to matter. Apparently things can be invented to somehow justify one’s actions. Perhaps that’s how it works in their minds. I can’t say for sure. I’ve certainly heard enough negative things about city and county leaders here. Actions appear to say and suggest the same. There are some people who will only believe when it happens to them. I have no reasons to make up false stories.

I would like to thank the Waxahachie Police Department for providing back up for my tow truck to get a customer off of the highway

A police department that has violated a 2nd amendment right to a male who was open carrying an ar15 on his back and a pistol in his waist band and they responded with a squad of five cops and took his gun while putting him face on the ground this happened on hw77 I watched from the gas station off of 77 he was just minding his business jogging down the road

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the officers of the Waxahachie police dept. I own a cleaning business & work late nights at a Waxahachie church, I'm alone in the building with 3 of my lady workers, sometimes until after midnight. Just tonight I was outside the church & I was checking my headlights, an officer pulled up & made sure I was ok! Anytime I have had contact with officers from you dept. they have been very professional, courteous & kind! It gives me a great sense of peace knowing your fine officers are on patrol. Many other departments could learn from your great organization! Many thanks!
