They used to have good things but they really don’t anymore and they offer you so much less for your clothes than they used to. Before if I’d take a nice shirt or jacket they’d offer me $4-5 for it and now they want to give me $1.25 ........ but then turn around and sell it for $12
Overall I love shopping here. However the music can be a bit too loud if you're trying to shop with friends. I also wish that they had more options for plus sized women.
I love Platos closet as I am an avid thrifter. This location (thumbs down). The shopping experience isn’t welcoming at all. The staff does NOT greet folks as they come in the door. Not sure if it’s discrimination but I have (several occasions) been ignored when I enter the store & someone of another race enters & are immediately greeted. I’ve waited 4 years to write this review. The experience at the store hasn’t changed since the first time I came.
The staff at the mesquite location are rude and would rather stare at the ceiling then talk to you. The quality of clothing has gone down drastically over the past couple years. Used to be able to go in and find designer jeans now it's all wrangler and Levi's, which would be ok if only the people that worked there were polite.
I plan to sell or donate some unwanted clothing of mine. IF you prefer Jordan and want to buy, you may find some items in stock.
