Lake Ray Hubbard is a very chill transit center. Seating areas are located in one of the two climate controlled buildings. There are vending machines located in the north building and each building has it’s own set of women's and men's restrooms. The buildings stay clean here due to a janitorial member, but rarely is a staff member on duty, especially during the day, but at night there is normally a security officer. Center is closed on the weekends.
I came here at 2:00pm to take the 283 in to Dallas downtown. The bus didn't even show up. I called DART and they told me the bus driver just didn't leave the garage. There were many people there waiting for the same bus. We had to wait an hour for the bus to show brining us in to the city then an hour late to out jobs
The 283 from downtown to the Lake Ray Hubbard Transit did not show at 7:05 or 7:35 as scheduled. Me and others waited over an hour before a bus finally showed up. I needed to get home to my child. The 283 is routinely late or does not even show up. We do pay money for this service.
No security at this site! My vehicle was broken into yesterday and items were stolen. On Monday of this week, another vehicle was broken into and I know of a truck tailgate that was stolen a few months ago.
Usually clean and not very crowded.
