I’ve never had anything but positive experiences with the Richardson PD but today was exceptional. My husband’s truck’s transmission went out in the turn lane from Arapaho on to Mimosa. Officer T. Hawkins stopped behind us to make sure no one hit us and called a tow truck for us. She made sure traffic kept flowing safely and was so professional and courteous! I deal with a lot of PDs in my line of work but Richardson PD is by far my favorite both professionally and in my personal dealing with them.

I've called several times about speeding cars going down my street and they could care less. It has become a safety hazard and I can not even get out of my driveway because every car is going 60 in a 30. We need speed bumps or more police presence. NEED MORE POLICE PRESENCE ON THE 400 BLOCK OF E SPRING VALLEY TO GIVE OUT SPEEDING TICKETS. THIS IS A NEIGHBORHOOD AND EVERY VEHICLE IS GOING 60MPH IN A 30. WE HAVE KIDS PLAYING AND PEOPLE WALKING DOGS. SOMEONE WILL GET RUN OVER . PLEASE GET CONTROL OVER THIS RPD!!!!!

We are so grateful that all these individuals are willing to put their life on the line everyday to protect the citizens of City of Richardson. Also thankful to those who work at the station from the ones that answer the phone to the detectives and even those who tend the jail. I know everyone is anticipating the opening of the new facility that will help meet the needs of its growing City. We are proud to back the blue. I pray for God to bless the Richardson Police Department that watch over those who are watching over us.

I think we have an excellent Police Department. Anytime I have needed their help they are there within a reasonable time and are very courteous.

Richardson PD is a prime example of why white privilege still exists. A detective will pursue a case of a white woman filing domestic violence with no evidence. While a black woman filed a case for domestic violence with medical records of a concussion and a video evidence of the domestic violence then got rejected. A white man got the PD called on him and detained then let go for having a knife out on his girlfriend in my apartment complex. This happen in the last two years. There is no justice in this city.
